The firm's principal business is the exploration and development of the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects or UKMP Projects), including the Arctic and Bornite Projects located in Northwest Alaska in the United States. The UKMP Projects consists of approximately 427,690-acre land package containing state, patented and native lands. The Arctic deposit is a polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit located approximately 470 kilometers northwest of the City of Fairbanks, Alaska. The Bornite deposit is a carbonate hosted copper-cobalt deposit located approximately 25 kilometers southwest of the Company's Arctic Project. The firm's subsidiaries include NovaCopper US Inc. and Ambler Metals LLC.
