The company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and currently employs 151 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2004-08-30. The Company, through its subsidiaries Polaris Energy Nicaragua, S.A. (PENSA) and San Jacinto Power International Corporation (SJPIC), owns and operates a 72-megawatt (MW) (net) capacity geothermal facility (the San Jacinto Project), located in northwest Nicaragua, near the city of Leon. Through its subsidiary Empresa de Generacion Electrica SAC (EGECSAC), the Company owns and operates a run-of-river hydroelectric project with a rated capacity of approximately five MW (net) located in the Canchayllo district of Peru. The firm through its subsidiary Generacion Andina SAC (GASAC), also owns and operates two run-of-river hydroelectric projects, with capacity of approximately eight MW (net) and 20 MW (net).
