Boardwalk Real Estate Investment Trust engages in the acquisition, refurbishment, management, ownership, and development of multi-family residential communities. The company is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta and currently employs 1,560 full-time employees. The Trust is an owner and operator of multi-family rental communities. The Trust owns and operates approximately 200 properties, which comprises of over 33,000 residential units, and totaling over 28 million net rentable square feet. Its property portfolio concentrates in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Quebec. The Trust's brands include Boardwalk Living, Boardwalk Communities, and Boardwalk Lifestyle.
