Hunter Group ASA is an investment company, which engages in the shipping and oil service investments. The company is headquartered in Oslo, Oslo and currently employs 4 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2007-06-12. The firm focuses on improvements within exploration and hydrocarbon prospects verification for the oil and gas industry. The company is the developer of The Badger Explorer (the Tool), a multi-purpose data analysis drilling device, able to monitor subsurface parameters. The tool drills into the subsurface and records data with the use of sensors and provides continuous, long-term data in form of surveillance logs, which are to be used for production enhancement activities. The technology used for the instrument’s development is based on a project invented by International Research Institute of Stavanger (formerly Rogaland Research).
