The firm has around 50 subsidiaries located in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Norway, Russia, Estonia and Lithuania, as well as had three joint ventures active in Finland and 10 associates. In May 2014, it announced that Saarioinen Oy terminated the contract concerning meat packaging at the Jyvaskyla production plant.
