Kilroy Realty Corp. operates as a self-administered real estate investment trust, which engages in the development, acquisition, and management of office and mixed-use real estate assets. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, California and currently employs 244 full-time employees. The company operates in office, life science and mixed-use submarkets in the United States. The company owns, develops, acquires, and manages real estate assets, consisting primarily of properties in Greater Los Angeles, San Diego County, the San Francisco Bay Area, Greater Seattle and Austin, and Texas. The firm owns its interests in all of its real estate assets through Kilroy Realty, L.P. (the Operating Partnership). Its stabilized portfolio includes all of its properties with the exception of development and redevelopment properties under construction or committed for construction, lease-up properties, real estate assets held for sale and undeveloped land. The company has added four development projects to its portfolio, consisting of six buildings totaling over 1,109,509 square feet of office and life science space in San Diego and South San Francisco, California and 193 residential units in Hollywood, California.
