The firm's portfolio of properties also consists primarily of apartment communities geographically concentrated in the Southeastern United States. North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio, and Kentucky. The firm owns all of its assets and conducts all its operations through Independence Realty Operating Partnership, LP (IROP).
