CGI reported Q3 2023 results with CAD 3.62 billion revenue, rising 11.2% from the previous year. Excluding exchange impact, revenue grew 6.3%. Double-digit growth surfaced across various segments, notably UK/Australia and Asia-Pacific with over 10% each. The firm's IP accounted for 21% of total revenue, echoing 12.4% growth. Consultant numbers rose to 91,500 worldwide as the company secured CAD 4.4 billion in contracts, accentuating a robust book-to-bill ratio of 121%. Pre-tax earnings climbed by 14.3% to $559 million for a 15.4% margin, while net earnings surged 13.9% to $415 million, with diluted EPS at $1.80, a 16.9% increase year-over-year. The effective tax rate edged up slightly to 25.8%, with an anticipated future range of 24.5%-26.5%.
