The company is headquartered in Maidstone, Kent and currently employs 77,221 full-time employees. The company went IPO on 2001-08-20. The firm's segments include Agriculture, Engineering and Food Service. The Agriculture segment is engaged in the production of core crops, including macadamia, avocados and tea. This segment is also engaged in the production of specialty crops, including arable, forestry, rubber, wine grapes and blueberries. The Engineering segment's products and services include new manufacture and repair of systems for the energy industry. The Food Service segment's products and services include loose leaf tea, cold storage and refrigerated transport.
