The company went IPO on 2010-09-01. The firm operates an oilseeds crushing and refinery complex in Hamburg, Germany, where rapeseed and soybeans are processed and refined for use in margarines and vegetable oils, bakery goods, frying applications, pharmaceutical glycerin and biodiesel fuel. The firm also operates oilseeds crushing plants in Spyck, the Netherlands, as well as in Straubing and Mainz, Germany, a commercial office in Hamburg and three manufacturing facilities for natural ingredients and compounds in Heidelberg-Eppelheim, Berlin and Nauen, Germany. The firm operates, among others, through ADM Rothensee GmbH & Co KG. The company is a subsidiary of Archers Daniels Midland (ADM) Company.
