The company conducts its business principally through four wholly owned insurance subsidiaries and one insurance subsidiary: United Property & Casualty Insurance Company (UPC); American Coastal Insurance Company (ACIC); Family Security Insurance Company, Inc. (FSIC); Interboro Insurance Company (IIC); and Journey Insurance Company (JIC). Its insurance subsidiaries provide personal residential and commercial property and casualty insurance products that protect its policyholders against losses due to damage to structures and their contents. Its subsidiaries also sell policies that protect against liability for accidents as well as property damage. Its primary products are homeowners' and commercial residential property insurance. The company writes commercial residential insurance in three states, including Florida, South Carolina, and Texas.
